About Us
15 years experience of urban bar & club DJing including
supporting Radio 1 RnB Dj Trevor Nelson twice at The
Ministry Of Sin, Aberdeen.
10 years experience of private parties such as birthdays,
weddings, christenings and charity events.
7 years experience as a video Dj as well as my own
equipment.
Ricochet has been DJing for the past fifteen years.
Starting off doing his own night, a Dj battle, he quickly
picked up numerous weekly residencies.
Having been thrown in at the deep end DJing in room 3 of
superclub Fabric in London (officially voted the best club
in the world twice) as part of his placement for his music
industry promotion and management course, he felt he could
recreate a similar buzz in his hometown of Aberdeen. Also
DJing at The Venue in Edinburgh and various college
organised nights helped Ricochet find his style.
An initial spot at RGU Union led to further residencies at
1741, Triple Kirks, Pivo, Revolution, Ministry, Wild Boar,
Priory, Pearl Lounge, Ricky Flynns & Zee's.
Played at; RGU Union for six years, Revolution for four
years, Wild Boar for three years, Zee's for three years, The
Ministry Of Sin for two and a half years, downstairs in The Priory for a year & Ricky Flynns for six months. I have
supported radio 1 r'n'b dj Trevor Nelson twice as well as
Sonique and Lisa Maffia and have my own radio show on RGU
Radio every Monday 10-11pm.
Dj Ricochet is now moving on to vj'in to become vj ricochet
using 2 Pioneer DVJ-X1s to provide whole nights of urban
music videos for Wild Boar, Pearl Lounge, Tiger Tiger &
Ricky Flynns. For those who don't know, a vj is a video
jockey.
